🔹 Before you start:
- Ensure there is enough free space around you.
- Use the Skate Spinner on a firm, smooth, flat, and clean surface (e.g., linoleum).
- It also works on low-pile carpet, but spins will be slower.
- Place your foot on the widened section of the Skate Spinner.
🔄 Step-by-Step Guide:
1️⃣ Basic Position:
- Stand on the Skate Spinner in a basic spin position on one foot.
- Rock forward and backward to find your balance.
2️⃣ Starting Rotation:
- Stand on the Skate Spinner with arms extended at shoulder level.
- Bend the supporting leg and extend the free leg to the side.
- Push off with the free leg and start rotating slowly until you stop.
- Keep arms extended and moving in rotation.
3️⃣ Practice on Both Legs:
- Repeat steps 1 & 2 on the other leg to train backward spins.
4️⃣ Full Spin Execution:
- Once you find the correct balance, complete the spin by bringing your arms in.
- Front spin: Exit on the floor.
- Back spin: You can exit directly on the Skate Spinner.
5️⃣ Try Advanced Spin Positions:
- Sit spin, camel spin, forward and backward variations.
- Always start from the basic position (Step 2).
- Ensure enough free space for practicing.
6️⃣ Mastering Turns & Footwork:
- You can practice almost all figure skating turns on the Skate Spinner.
- Maintain correct body posture before each turn.
- Train three-turns, double three-turns, twizzles with proper free leg movement.
