Improves posture, balance, and strengthens the body
Ideal for warm-ups

Not suitable for jumps

📝 Instructions – Icedream Recommendations:

🔹 Before you start:

  • Ensure there is enough free space around you.
  • Use the Skate Spinner on a firm, smooth, flat, and clean surface (e.g., linoleum).
  • It also works on low-pile carpet, but spins will be slower.
  • Place your foot on the widened section of the Skate Spinner.

🔄 Step-by-Step Guide:

1️⃣ Basic Position:

  • Stand on the Skate Spinner in a basic spin position on one foot.
  • Rock forward and backward to find your balance.

2️⃣ Starting Rotation:

  • Stand on the Skate Spinner with arms extended at shoulder level.
  • Bend the supporting leg and extend the free leg to the side.
  • Push off with the free leg and start rotating slowly until you stop.
  • Keep arms extended and moving in rotation.

3️⃣ Practice on Both Legs:

  • Repeat steps 1 & 2 on the other leg to train backward spins.

4️⃣ Full Spin Execution:

  • Once you find the correct balance, complete the spin by bringing your arms in.
  • Front spin: Exit on the floor.
  • Back spin: You can exit directly on the Skate Spinner.

5️⃣ Try Advanced Spin Positions:

  • Sit spin, camel spin, forward and backward variations.
  • Always start from the basic position (Step 2).
  • Ensure enough free space for practicing.

6️⃣ Mastering Turns & Footwork:

  • You can practice almost all figure skating turns on the Skate Spinner.
  • Maintain correct body posture before each turn.
  • Train three-turns, double three-turns, twizzles with proper free leg movement.

💡 Unleash your creativity! Once you gain confidence and balance, try spirals, Ina Bauers, and other skating elements.

At first, it may be difficult to hold long spins, but with regular practice, your body will gain stability and control, making your spins powerful and elegant both off and on the ice! ⛸️✨
